The work was done professionally and quickly. I thought they wouldn’t be able to get to the job for several days but instead performed the work the same day I requested it. They tidied up after completing the installation. I would use them again.

Are you tired of running out of Hot Water? The Tank Booster valve from Cash Acme now enables you to get 75% more hot water from your water heater. So instead of 3 people taking back to back showers, now 6 people can!
The Tank Booster is a Thermostatic Mixing Valve that mixes hot and cold water together to deliver the desired output temperature. The water in the tank of your hot water heater is heated to approximately 145°F. Then as the water leaves the tank, The Tank Booster valve mixes the 145°F with cold water, delivering the hot water into your home at a safe 120°F (it comes with an adjustable temperature range from 95°F (35°C) – 130°F (54°C)). By storing water at higher temperature and mixing cold water in to reduce the temperature down, you will double the amount of usable hot water delivery from the same size tank. In addition, this allows the heater to be set at a germ-killing 140°F (60°C) or higher which aids in preventing the growth of legionella bacteria, while still delivering water at a safe 120°F (49°C) or lower from all outlets.
Just Water Heater will install a Tank Booster Valve on your new water heater for $200.00. Call us today at 520-488-0816 to effectively double your household’s usable hot water!
All I want for Christmas is hot water!
Having a broken water heater is NOT want you want this holiday season. Dishes are harder to do when you have to heat water on the stove to wash them and guests don’t appreciate cold showers. However, you may be close to a water heater meltdown and not even know it.
Now that the Tucson temperatures are colder at night the water in your plumbing is colder. This means your water heater needs to work a little longer and harder to get the water up to your set temperature. In addition, the difference between the hot water on the top of the tank and cold water coming in at the bottom is greater, causing extra flexing of the tank itself. Not to mention, all the extra use it will have with kids home from college, grandma coming for an extended visit, extra holiday dishes and all the extra laundry. If your water heater is older (over 8 years) this may push your tank beyond its limits.
If you know your water heater is old, you may want to replace it now before a water heater meltdown ruins your holiday plans. It can be an irritant at the very least, with showers running out of hot water and squabbles arising over extended bathroom use. At the worst, it can lead to a major breakdown, forcing an emergency plumbing call at a time when you want to focus on enjoying the holidays.
Give Just Water Heaters a call and give yourself the gift of knowing you will have hot water this holiday season. 520-488-0816
When getting a quote for a new water heater it is important to know not only how many gallons your water heater is but the exterior dimensions as well. Both the capacity and height will have an impact on how much your water heater will cost.
Determine the Size of Your Water Heater
- Look for a sticker on the side of your water heater. It should have the serial number and other information as well as the gallon capacity listed. This is the capacity of your water heater.
- Using a tape measure, measure the height of your water heater from its base to the top. Then measure the width (diameter). It is also helpful to measure from the floor to the ceiling of the space your water heater is in and note if you have any room on the sides or top of your water heater. Refer to image below.
Now you can look at our pricing chart and see what the price will be for the capacity and height of water heater that you need.
Do I need a tall or short water heater?
The major differences are height, gallon capacity and required height for plumbing connections.
Short Water Heaters
These units are shorter and wider than a normal water heater, allowing them to hold the same amount of water as their larger counterparts while still fitting in areas with limited headroom, such as crawl spaces and under cabinets. Short water heaters vary between 30 to 49 inches and hold up to 50 gallons of water. The nickname for tall water heaters is “short boy.”
Tall Water Heaters
Tall water heaters range from 50 to 76 inches and can hold up to 100 gallons of water. They’re ideal for basements or garages where height isn’t an issue. In addition to the height, the space must also accommodate the height needed to connect a pipe on top of the tall water heater unit to the plumbing system of the home. The nickname for tall water heaters is “tall boy.”
If you can not determine the size of your water heater or have questions about if a certain water heater will fit in your space please call me at 520-488-0816.
Frank removed old hot water heater and installed a new 50 gallon gas hot water heater. The price was $700.
Frank was very punctual and performed the water heater replacement quickly and efficiently. He was polite and very knowledgable about the new heater. He showed me the important features and gave me detailed instructions on basic maintenance procedures. I highly recommend him.

This week I received a call for a quote to install a 40 gallon gas water heater. I gave the customer quote over the phone and they immediately set up a time for me to come install the water heater. At the end of the job I asked them if they were satisfied with the service and pricing that Just Water Heaters offers. They customer told me they were EXTREMELY happy and that my price was MUCH cheaper than other companies that they had called and showed me other written quotes to prove it.
This is an Apples to Apples price comparison! Same AO smith 40 gallon gas water heater, same 6 year warranty. However, the other company’s quote did NOT include a permit.
Competitors price: $1147.00
Just Water Heater Price: $641.50 ($599.99 + $11.50 for upgraded ball valve and tax of $30.01)
NOTE: The other company also tried to tell the customer they needed additional plumbing done and that they would be happy to give her a quote for that as well.
I stand by what I advertise. Just Water Heaters is an honest company with FAIR pricing. We have some of the lowest prices in Tucson and pride ourselves on our customer service. But don’t take my word for it, read what my customers have to say.
5 stars! Contacted Frank at noon, arrived by 2:00, replaced gas heater installed by 3:00… at half the cost quotes of Lowes and Home Depot. Professional work by a really nice guy. Thanks Just Water Heaters.

Installed new 50 gallon gas water heater, along with new flex line and ball valve.
I submitted a request for service on their website – within 15 minutes Frank called me back to give me a price (identical to the pricing on his website) and we scheduled a water heater replacement for the following morning.
He showed up10 minutes early, and promptly started the work. The job was completed in just over an hour. He installed a new 50 gallon gas water heater, along with new flex line and ball valve, and removed the old unit.
For the price quoted on their website, one receives a quality name brand water heater with a 6 year warranty (for my job, he installed a Ruud).
For this price I could not ask for more. Excellent price and a quick, easy, quality installation!

Awesome service!!! My hot water heater died and I called several companies for quotes. Frank was my third call and the best quote by hundreds of dollars. He arrived on time and got to work. Less then hour later I had hot water and complete confidence that the job was done correctly. Thanks for doing an awesome job! If you need the job done correctly, quickly use this company.

Frank arrived earlier than he had estimated. He went right to work and completed the job in about an hour. He was professional, friendly and very competent. He does not normally work on the weekends, but happened to be doing a job when I called him this morning, and since my water heater had been leaking pretty badly, he was kind enough to stop on his way home to install a new one. In addition, he shocked us both when he found a dead cat wedged behind the old water heater. It had apparently jumped up on the appliance and fell down behind it. He installed a plate at no extra charge so nothing like that would happen again. How many service providers would do that? I highly recommend him if and when your water heater goes out.
